hi, I don`t know if you even deal with anything as old and low end as my rtls, and I am sure you have heard this one many times before...i blew my cambridge a5 amp in a house party, both internal fuses went after a couple of hours of full volume dance music. I think the amp took the crossover on one of my tdl rtl3 speakers, as I now only get a very weedy treble and no bass at all out of it. can you give me an idea how much it woudl cost to fix it? are parts for these old speakers still available? the other speaker seems to be working fine, but would you want to check that it is still working correctly? many thankssergio

mj acoustics ref I mk ii hums pops crackles but still plays bass etc. its a great speaker cost over 1000.00 when new but has an electrical fault. it does this even when not connected to anything but mains power but sometimes it operates fault free.

i have a kef hbt2 sub woofer. it was working fine until last night, when suddenly it started crackling and thudding heavily. it continued to do this even after I stopped playing. I checked all the cables and they were all connected. I changed the rca cable as well and I checked the power cable, and they too were connected perfectly. I moved the sub further away from the amp, just incase there was interference of some kind. the red light on top of the sub would turn blue a few seconds after turning on the sub. but now, that stays red and the sub is not working at all.please help me resolve this as soon as possible. power is coming into the sub from the mains, and I have plugged into different sockets too. nothing seems to work. please help.
