so just got back from a couple months away out o the country to find my pioneer xdj-rx2 has had a drink spilt over the top of it by my brother who was using them over the xmas period at a gathering. the decks turn on with power but there is no music function at all, the screen is completley not working to select any function what do ever. can I get a qoute on repairs on these? thankyou

i have a sony cd player that€™s stopped working correctly. the cd€™s go in but it won€™t play them. at first it just happened occasionally, but now it won€™t read any cd€™s. I also have a car cd player that has stopped working. I can€™t put cd€™s in, it just spits them back out. this only started recently. obviously given covid-19 etc there will likely be delays with getting this sorted. but be good to organise repairs now for when the isolation period end. however if there were a way to do pick-up/drop-off safely then that could also work. many thanks,

Nick

i have a numark tt1650 turntable that has intermittently begun slowing down when played. I gather from some research online that this may be as a result of an overheated or loose heatsink. is this something you would be able to repair?

xdjrx 1st edition, completely broken cue button and few other buttons are temperamental likely due to debris (fag ash/tobacco and general dust build up etc) used in smoke friendly environment so pressume that would be main issue, also the left jog wheel seems to work when it wants to and occasional usb loading errors however I think all issues except for the cue button is due to debris as previously advised

we have a linn classik music - one box music player (amp and cd player combined unit). last week we had a power issue in the house which resulted in the power being switched on and off. after this we had no power to our system. we suspect an internal fuse may have blown but are reluctant to send to linn as their repair costs are quite high whatever the problem. we really want to see if (as you are in the local area - we live in methven and are happy to bring it to you) if you would be willing to assess if this is a minor fixable problem or something more serious. look forward to hearing from you. kind regards, mark.

pioneer ddj sr2 - right hand crossfader keeps cutting out when moving it up and down. when I put pressure onto it and wiggle it about it seems to work again but then it will continue to cut out when I try to move it again. my friend also cleaned my decks recently and said that liquid had got onto the pcb.
