hi, I have 4 faulty bose wave cd units, all of them have the same issue - disc won`t play, or will skip excessively. I find that when powered on for around 2 to 3 hours the problem of skipping subsides a little. problem with samson expedition xp510i pa. speakers failed (mixer blew) component in mixing desk was replaced (described by repairer as failure of output ic`s), but when reconnected to speakers system again failed (not sure if mixer has blown again as turned off immediately problem occurred) have been told it might be a short in one of the speakers that had blown the original component.
